Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock Bundle With Guitar Review

This is kind of the guitar hero you love ^_< I am running vista ultimate 32 on a semi self built machine that is not entirely up to the specs required at least where my processor is concerned. However my video card well exceeded the min requirements the game asks for and as long as I turn down some of the graffix features in the game like lens flare(whatever that is) and don't run a bunch of programs in the background it plays pretty darn well not exactly like on my friends consoles but pretty darn close. I expect that it will play perfectly once i upgrade my processor to what they ask for but its good enough for me right now the notes hit in the right places and i don't need the graffix on high(seeing as it is better than the graffix on a Wii console even on low lol) So I would say if you have never gamed on the PC you plan to install this on then make sure you have at least the min req and be prepared to do a lot of tinkering with the settings to get it to run smoothly. The min PC requirements since i couldn't find them on amazon anywhere b4 I purchased would be on the Aspyr website. There is also a patch on their website that improves performance on slower machines. So all in all I don't think there is any reason not to buy this product unless your machine is not up to spec or if you have the $$ to blow on a xbox or playstation. Like i said even on low graffix mine are better than my friends Wii lol.

Bayonetta Review

This is one of the better action games that I have played for PS3 in a while. It is purely hack and slash; not a whole lot of strategy involved or time spent learning complex moves. Combat is still very satisfying, as you do have an array of different weapons and combos at your disposal. Some of the boss battles incorporate quick time elements that do require precise timing, and in some cases it can take a while to figure out just what to do, but there is nothing that should leave you scratching your head too much. The occasional puzzles are generally pretty simple, usually along the lines of “fetch an item” so the action keeps moving at a pretty good pace. The graphics are superb, and really do a good job of portraying the immense scale of the game and the fast action. The story is cheesy and somewhat over-sexed, but about what you would expect for a game like this. My advice would be to just have fun with it. One note: I played the game on “easy” difficulty and found it to be satisfying. This is actually the medium difficulty setting; “normal” being the most difficult of the choices available when you first start playing the game. This game does not seem to incorporate too many “cheap deaths” and there is a variety of different ways for you to collect and/or create power-up items (although you will be penalized for using these when you are “ranked” at the end of each level). Anyway, it was enough of a challenge, and I did not die every five seconds. When I did die, I found myself not having to repeat too much, as the game does an excellent job of utilizing the “autosave” feature. Overall, this was a very fun and satisfying game, and the length was just right; not too long to where you get bored of doing the same things over and over, and not too short either.

Happy Feet Review

my three year old loves this game. she has other games geared toward kids of her age, and she loves those as well, but this game makes her feel like she is plaing a “big kid game”. truthfully she doesn’t really win at a whole lot of the mini games, but she loves playing it anyway, and she loves the penguins. the controls are very easy for her to figure out, with minor supervision, and the graphics are really quite good in this game. bigger kids love this game too, and i don’t even mind playing it sometimes some of the mini games are quite fun, like swimming through the ocean under the ice (the graphics in that game are quite pretty), and sliding on your tummy etc..for a game based on a movie, this was a good one, and we are glad we bought it.

The Storyline
